Release notes

The current documentation audit covers Dashboard Portal v0.6.2.

Current audited release: v0.6.2

v0.6.2 — standalone Mail shell

v0.6.2 adds reloadable /mail and /mail/setup routes with a dedicated Mail header, a Portal return link, and no primary navigation sidebar. The Mail inbox remains fixture data; this release does not turn it into a live IMAP client.

v0.6.1 — safer Ubuntu Nginx updates

v0.6.1 handles Ubuntu’s package-default Nginx site during a Portal update so it does not conflict with Portal’s default server. The installer removes only that known default symlink and preserves custom Nginx sites.

v0.6.0 — runtime detection and port-aware Mail Setup

v0.6.0 adds metadata-only runtime detection for a selected repository branch and directory, plus Mail Setup readiness checks and helper-mediated, port-aware provisioning. Neither a Dockerfile alone nor a local firewall check proves end-to-end deployment or Internet mail delivery; the owner must review runtime choices and validate mail externally.

Update through SSH

Portal software updates remain SSH-initiated. The UI can show signed release availability but cannot apply an update. Follow the updates and recovery guide and verify the Portal service, helper, Nginx, loopback health endpoint, and public HTTPS page after each update.
